Thyroid Issue?

I was a perfectly healthy individual with very stable normal to low blood pressure 2 weeks ago. I have been told over the last two years that my thyroid has been "a little hyper".  Two weeks ago my blood pressure went up to 210/128 and required an ER visit.  I was also having PVC's.  My doctor did an EKG and echocardiogram. The echocardiogram showed decreased ejection fraction of 40%.  EKG showed left posterior fascicular block with PVC's.  My TSH level was .005 but my T3 and T4 were within normal limits.  I had a nuclear thyroid scan which showed 19.8% uptake in 6 hours and 40.9% uptake in 24 hours with diffuse homogenous uptake throughout both lobes.  THe last time I had a TPA test in Jan 2012 results were 326 with normal being 0-34.  I have had to be started on two blood pressure medicines, as well as they started me on Methimazole.  Is all of this coming from my throid? I am very concerned about my heart and wondering if this can or has caused permanent damage.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  I still do not have a definitive diagnosis and I cannot see an endocrinologist for a few weeks.

Ticks can potentially spread various diseases (eg: Lyme disease) so it's possible you have been infected and this has caused sudden changes in symptoms.

Thyroid Peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) are seen in both Hashimoto's and Graves disease. In Graves' disease, the antibody to test for is called thyroid-stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI) - sometimes called TSH receptor antibody (TRAb).

Would mild graves cause such a rapid increase in bp? My bp was consistently 110/60, even two years ago when my TSH level was .005 as it is now. Also TPA 2 years ago was 362 with normal range showing 0-45. I have not had TPA drawn recently so I have no idea what it is.  My concern is why the sudden change in symptomatology when levels have been about the same for the last 2 years.  I am trying to be sure my thyroid is actually causing all of the issues, as I was bitten by a tick and they (doctors) are unsure if this has played a part in the sudden symptoms.

Hyperthyroidism is cause of high blood pressure, PVC's, left anterior fascicular block, wide/high pulse pressure (your pulse pressure is 82 [210 - 128 = 82]).  Diffuse homogenous uptake is seen with Graves' disease. With normal T4 and T3, the diagnosis would be subclinicial (mild) Graves disease.
