There are websites from which you can do that. You order the labs, they e-mail you the lab order and tell you which local lab to go to (typically, LabCorp), you get the blood draw and in a couple days or so, they e-mail you the results, with a hard copy sent in the mail.
One site that I've used a couple of times is Healthcheckusa.com and I've had really good luck with it. I'm told there might some less expensive, but I can't vouch for those.
If you get the labs done, and post them here, with the reference ranges, we'll certainly help you interpret them. We might have a patient recommended doctor in your area who will help you, if you let us know your city. If you don't want to post it on the open forum, feel free to send me a private message. You can do that by hovering your cursor over my name and when you see the drop down box, click on "Send Message".
Seriouslyy thinking about ordering them myself and just paying for it.
He wouldn't even order the antibody tests to see if you have Hashimoto's? That's pretty dumb...
Saw dr today was given 12 weeks of vitamin d supplement. Dr said due to my results being normal range he could not do more test but he would look for an endo that will see me as an evaluation but he was doubtful. He said we would re check labs in 3 months.
You should try to get the thyroid antibody tests done to see if you have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis... Even though your thyroid function tests are well within the normal limits, it's not unusual to begin having symptoms of hypothyroidism long before they go out of range.
The tests you need are Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb).
