When you say they ran your blood work, what levels did they check? If only tsh, that may not necessarily detect a problem. You need to have free T3/T4 and the antibody level checked as well. My tsh was within "normal" range at the time they were checking, but my antibodies were high. So further testing and scanning were done, thank goodness!
I'm right there with you as far as the weight though. And yes, it's very depressing. Part of it is our age, and unfortunately we have to move more than we did in our younger years to lose. Good for YOU for doing it! Also remember that all calories are not created equal. I'm trying to up the protein and keep the carbs a little lower. I'll let you know how that goes. :-( A good place to track is *********** online. Check it out.
Good luck!
If you had blood work done, post the TSH, T3 T4 Etc here and some members will explaine them to you, If you have not had a complete thyroid exam then you might want to do that to either rule out or confirm thyroid problems. I am a newbie here and not up on test results myself, although there are members here that are. Good Luck FTB4
