Sick

I am 30 years old, I have been a diabetic since I was 8 years old. As a teenager I was diagnosed with hashimotos thyroiditis and put on synthroid but my endocrinologist later said I should stop taking it. Recently I have been very sick. I have lost almost 40 pounds, I am tired all the time my body aches and my most recent tsh result showed my level at 0.070. My endocrinologist doesnt want to take the time to see me even though I wear an insulin pump and it has been malfunctioning quite often lately. I can hardly get out of bed to come to work in the morning I am on FMLA because of this. Do you have any suggestions because no one will take the time to help me.

You are defintely Hyperthyroid from your symptoms & TSH level. If a doctor does not get you on Anti Thyroid meds then you will contintue to feel awful. I know how you feel. I have hyperthyroid & it took me six months to get dxd & get the meds. If your Endo doesn't want to see you then find a new one so you can start feeling better.

Also you must do an ultrasound of your thyroid, don't stop until someone listen to you.

Your're hyper with that TSH, you should test for free T3 and free T4. You must treat your thyroid to control your sugar levels. Are you being treated by an ENDO, both are endocrine problems , they must be seen together.
