Thanks for your advice, Stella. I've gained some weight this year, for no real reason, a little less than 30 pounds. My activity level is actually higher now than before now that I'm working again. I've been experiencing leakage from one breast, but stopped breastfeeding nearly 2 years ago---my prolactin levels came back normal though, I think they said a 7? I'm tired, cold, and have terrible breakage of my hair ( I actually just had it cut really short). I'm going to call today and see if I can get a full panel run.
Thank you so much!!!
Most definately - the T's testing is very important in finding out the root causing some symptoms.
You are subclincial hypothyroid - not normal. and symptomatically hypo.
I would bet everything I own - I was hyperthyroid for over 15 years prior to being Dx and all I heard was - It's nothing- your anxious - bad relationships- etc.
Well now after I went through thyroid he// these last 6 years I still get the brush off with things - but I do not have those same symptoms I did now that they distroyed the gland with RAI. I do however - suffer the hypo symptoms and struggle to be my own advocant on trying to be "normal" again.
Don't go by what the doctors say all the time. Get your labs and check them out - You know how you feel - they don't.
What issues were you having to get you tested?
