I usually go ahead and take what I have on hand, but seeing as how you are hyper I wouldn't think missing one day would hurt you in the long run. Know that if they don't have my brand at the pharmacy and have to wait on it one day it is better to skip it than take wrong thing. Think you'd be ok. Really wouldn't know why you wouldn't, but I'm no dr.

PS--thought I was the only one left that said "jiminy crickets"! My kids think it is hilarious! They have no idea who, or should I say what, that is even. That made my day! :+)
I didn't here from doc's office so I called and the doc hadn't reviewed the labs yet. When I got home I had a message from them - they missed me at work. Bummer.
My labs show that I have in fact gone hyper- my tsh was in range but my FT4 was very high. They are reducing my levoxyl to 150mcg. Repeat labs in 6weeks.
Since I don't have any 150 in the house I will have to wait until tomorrow for them to call a script in.The doc's office was closed when i got home. I will also have them fax me a copy of the labs - i like to see them for myself- especially since this wasn't my endo doing them.
Would it be ok if i skipped tomorrow's dose? Or should I cut on of my 175mcg. pills?
Any thoughts?
Thanks everyone for response.
TOLD YOU- Thanks for the hugs and wanted to say thanks for the B info- i really did feel better- so maybe still a possibility.
JELLYZ- I take xanax as needed. I've had this script for a while so I haven't even used a 30 day supply as of yet. I only take 1/2 pill unless it is night time because I get too tired. I used to be on lexapro but after a wjile it made me feel freaky. My doc & I agree I don't need anything daily anymore.
DAC- that's interesting about the salt - never thought of it- maybe i flooded the kidneys? I will mention that to RN when she calls me later today.
the RN practitioner i saw yesterday said it's one of a few things- 1. maybe I have become Hyper- last check of thyroid all T's normal & tsh was .66 -2. anemia - symptoms are similar- 3.new onset of diabetes( she thinks this is less an issue no family history of it) or 4. I have an infection somewhere.
She ordered & completed the bloodwork there so that we would have results today- I haven't heard anything yet but it's only 1:50p.m.- she oredered bmp-cbc- and entire thyroid panel.
I can't wait to hear back - Everytime my extension rings and i know it's outside line i think ohhhhhh it's them- jiminy crickets- it's always someone else!!!
I will post the results when I have them. Thanks to all
God Bless-
teresa
Have you tried eating some salt? Like plain salt or taking salt tablets? This is exactly how I felt the other day and once I sat down and ate some rock salt, literally, within minutes I was better.
After saying you were in the heat for 2 hours and guzzling ice water that really makes me wonder about it.

I have ativan for as needed, but that is it. I have been having trouble for 3 years so i have been on Xanax and other things but was taken off the xanax by my Primary doctor. I have only been going through thyroid problems since June so all this is new to me. But i am having a TT on Wednesday so they just blamed it all on anxiety but when I went to the doctor the other day and got the B-12 and it helped so much I knew then it was more than anxiety.
I am just TIRED of all this, my body is tired, I am just worn out from the not knowing. But I tell you I KNOW how you feel, I was amazed when I read your post, I could have written it myself just last week.
Dana
teresa or dana,
do you take any anti-anxiety meds? i had to start celexa & xanax in may because i had a total freak out after my biopsy came back suspicous and before the TT revealed cancer.
anyhow, my chiropractor says a LOT of this stuff i'm feeling can also be caused by these meds that help the anxiety. also, deficiencies in nutrition...B vitamins like Dana says...i'm going to start the b-complex.
You symptoms are ME I swear...I almost started bawling reading your post. I was REALLY bad last week I went in to see the doc and got a B-12 shot not sure if it was it or what but I feel TONS better. I am still having some lightheaded / Faint feeling and a little unable to focus but NOTHING like I was it is alot better.
I just wanted you to know even though you feel alone you are not alone, I feel just like you I am scared to be alone of drive anywhere or do anything when I am feeling like that. My doc thinks panic attack, but I DONT. I have had blood work, brain scan, CT scan you name it I have had it but I think it is something chemically.
((((((HUGS TO YOU ))))))))))))))))
Dana
Jellyz - sorry you're feeling this way too. I hope you keep pushing your doc or change docs until you find one who listens.
C~ Thanks so much for asking. I feel yukky today! Still lightheaded and foggy- stil have the dull headache-nausea- heart kind of racey ( fluttery more like it i guess) I called my primary office and have an appt. with the RN- doc is booked solid. I just hope she listens & doesn't send me anywhere else - my endo is in another town and longer drive. i dunno what i'm doing today - dumb me who hates to take off work is here in cubi-CELL- wishing i wold have stayed home! I'll be leaving early just not early enough for my liking.
I'll let you know later. Thanks again for asking.
teresa
Geez, so sorry to hear you are feeling awful like this and it isn't normal to feel this way and have the faint spell & not feel comfortable enough to take your son shopping and/or driving ? Those thing alone tell me something isn't right.
I'd go to the Primary Doc tomorrow if you can get in and get a TSH at the very least (bloodwork)...you may have gone hyper and/or need an adj. in dosing of meds even if the #'s are the same like mine .. have to take symptoms into consideration but I don't like the lightheaded one you describe.
How are you doing this eve?
Cheryl
scarlet 37 -- i'm glad (not for you or me) to read your post b/c i'm having very similar symptoms. check out my post from today 8/26. last time i felt somewhat regular my tsh was around .6....now all the stuff you describe. headache, bouncing from task to task, mental fogginess, i actually lose my balance, my muscles are twitching, sometimes burning sensation, feeling REALLY nervous. my endo says 'your levels are fine' but TSH went from .4 to .1 in one week! I truly believe everything i'm feeling is thyroid related... i'm 3 months post TT, and i have not been stable once yet at any med level.
also- if your heart is racing - does it feel like it's just beating fast or is it the feeling of jumping out of your chest?
thanks again\
teresa
