TSH concerns

Hi,

I am 27 years old, and I just found out that my TSH levels are low, I believe.  The levels were .015 at one visit and .059 at the next.  My doctor explained this doesn't mean much, but if it doesn't why do I need to get my thyroid tested every month now?

I'm also 25 weeks pregnant, will this effect my pregnancy?

Thank you muchly,
Jennifer

They have run a T3 and T4 test, the T3 and T4 levels were normal they said.  I'm just a little confused.

Your doctor should be running a Free T3 and Free T4 test with every TSH, to get an accurated picture of what is going on.
It is best to keep a continual watch. Hard to really comment though without knowing the Free's, as the TSH is not the tell all test.
