Nerve damage?

There is one spot on my incision (6th steri-strip from the left), that if I barely touch it hurts ~really~ bad, is the nerve damage? I know that during surgery things can get stretched, or cut...this is the only spot that is really painful..just wondering.

I'm not sure I have any internal stitching..but that area is a bit bumpy. It's not infected..so that's good. :D

I had steri strips for the first surgery then I had like plastic wrap with guaze the 2nd surgery. I had intense pain and redness on the outer right corner. It turned out to be an internal stitch that was just a tad too long and after the swelling had settled stuck out a bit and caused me pain.
I suspect you might have similar problem. Ask your doc to take a look at it. I put up with mine for a few weeks till it was too sore to even go to sleep!

I'm not a doctor, just a mom.  I know that sometimes, nerves get cut and they can be tender for a while.  Alot of times, nerves will heal with time.  Are their signs of infection?  Is it red? Warm to the touch? discolored?  If it doesn't appear to be infected, it's probably a nerve and will heal.  If it looks infected, i.e. red, hot to the touch, discolored, seeping liquid, I would call the Dr.'s office and ask his nurse or make an appointment to see him.  You won't really feel better until you know for sure.
