I assume from reading here that it is not uncommon. My TSI is 799 normalNormal saline flush < 150 and my microsomal antibody was 107.8 normalNormal saline flush < 5.0...I was told that I had Hashis at an appointment in Jan and then a new endocrin put me on Tapazole in july when the TSI numbers came out. I was shocked but only talked to the nurse who seemed dumbfounded by my question "how can this be?" --I learned you can be both here, but I am still questioning the results when I see him next time.
No I have graves--High TSI levels incidate Graves and that is what I was last given as a diagnosis "over the phone" and put on Tapazole. I have never swung either. Always had hyper TSH levels.
I plan on getting my swine flu shot. I have Hashi.
Take care...
