If my thyroid is on the low side and i am already on medication (synthroid) would my endo increase or decrease my medication. My symptoms of hypothyroidism returned, almost all of them which triggered me to retest. I was put on a low estrogenHormone replacement therapy pill due to hormonal imbalance. My endo is decreasing my meds from .137 to .125. so with my thyroid on the low side would he need to increase or decrease? wanting a second opinion
Which levels lowered? TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh, Free T4T4 test or Free T3? If you have your lab results, post them with ranges so we can take a look. :)
Taking estrogenHormone replacement therapy can cause you to need more thyroid medicine...so be on the look out for possible change in levels.
I have had hashimotos for 8 years and was just recently put on estrogen for PCOS.
Was told they are 2 separate issues. My thyroid has been so uo and down lately some times I take more and other times I have had to take less. I feel that the 2 are related, what do you think???
