You can always call and check for cancellations, if need be...
It's not unusual to have to wait 2 months to get in to see an endo... I had to wait 5 months for my appointment with a new endo. Many doctors keep a cancellation list; you can ask if yours does and ask to be put on it. That way, if someone cancels, you could be called in sooner. The problem with that is that notice is, typically, very short, so you should be ready to pick up and go - often the same day. I had one once within an hour... I had to turn it down because it would take longer than that to get there, from where I was.
If your nodules become problematic, such as causing issues with swallowing/breathing, you should call the doctor and let them know; there may be a chance they'd work you in on an emergency basis...
shay8585 is the exception, not the rule... less than 5% of all thyroid nodules turn out to be cancer, so please don't panic. I explained this on another thread you posted on; I hope you'll read that...
Your post is a little scarry....did you have your throat scoped and biop or ultrasound? Was the nodule cancerous that had calcification?? Asking because most posters say most thyroid nodules are treated, and go away or shrink, with Synthroid medication. Can you share more?
yes it can it really depends on in my case i waited and let it get bigger ended up with thyroid cancer
