I can't possibly tell you all the diseases/disorders/conditions that have the same/similar symptoms as a thyroid condition.  Symptoms often overlap, such as fatigue, which can apply to, literally, dozens of different conditions, but there are a few specific ones we suggest looking at first.  The same goes for constipation, muscle aches/pains and other symptoms.

You, also, have to keep in mind that we are not doctors and we deal mostly with thyroid blood tests, though there are a few tests that we can interpret, lightly...

From what you've posted... your WBC (white blood cell count) is high... that indicates infection/inflammation somewhere in your body, but we have no way of telling where it is.  NEU and LYM are different types of white blood cells and they each do different things... None of them are "alarmingly" high.

Slight inflammation could be caused from IBS (if you have it), the muscle aches/pain, thyroid (if you have a condition) or any number of other conditions.

Of the the rest of the blood tests, the only things I see that "might" raise a red flag is that your RBC (red blood cell count) is near the low end of the range, as is your HGB (hemoglobin).  This could indicate that you might be near anemia, though, both are well within the ranges, but they may bear watching...  Additionally, your calcium level is near the top of the range and bears watching, as it could indicate a parathyroid problem.

Anxiety can do strange things to our body... I know, because I had it quite badly for a while and had to ask for a mild anti-anxiety med.  I'm long since off the med and doing well...

I got my thyroid ultrasound back today. And my doctor is sending me to an endocrinologist for a goiter.  My results say..

The thyroid isthmus is unremarkable measuring 4.3~mm ap

The right lobe is moderately enlarged measuring 5.1 ×1.7×2.9- cm. There is a 3 mm hypoechoic nodule in the lower pole of the right lobe.
The left lobe is mildly enlarged measuring 4.9×1.4×2.2 cm. There is heterogeneous echogenicity throughout the left lobe with no well defined cyst or nodule.

So I have trouble trusting the readings of labs by the doctors.  I swear they always say everything looks fine.  So after a suggestion from someone on here I started going and having them make me copies of all my labs and ultrasounds.
On my latest labs in Feb I got the call that everything looked good.  I went and got my lab copy and seen under *notes* where it says suggestive of irritable bowel syndrome.  They did not tell me this on the phone.  I just got back out my labs from the last few months and my labs from January they did a cbc.

My WBC  says high the result is 14.9 with the range of 3.8-10.8

The MPV says low with a result of 5.0 range of 6.5-11.7

NEU is high 82% range of 42-75

LYM is low at 12% range of 16-52

I've seen alot of doctors like to blame a lot of things on anxiety disorder.
I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder 10 years ago.  But I didn't start having all these symptoms until the last year.  I definitely feel like it is not because of the anxiety.  The anxiety I've had for years gave me symptoms like tightness in my chest,  shortness of breath,  tingling,  and fear.  But that was just during panic attacks.  But I generally feel nervous and anxious about everything all the time.  All the problems with palpitations,  Gerd,  muscle pains weakness and twitching and frequent sciatica,  hot flashes and chills joint pain and popping all started last January.

Don't worry about being a pest or if they get tired of seeing... that would be the very last thing I'd worry about.  It's their responsibility to see to it that you get well and until you get well, you have every right to expect the very best they can give you...

Yes, adrenal symptoms can present very much like thyroid and many doctors don't really believe that much in adrenal "fatigue"... if you don't have Cushings or Addison's, they'll tell you, you don't  have and adrenal problem.

It's up to you, whether you wait for the 1 month appointment - that might be good, because it will give you longer to learn... Don't be afraid to ask us questions because we'll be happy to answer anything we can.  It'll be best to add further questions here, so we have your background and don't have to keep asking for it... but we'll certainly try to prepare you for your visit.

Also, be sure to post the results of your ultrasound... I'm not real good at intrepreting those, but we have someone who is...

Ok.  Thank you.  I had also been looking up the Acth test.  I've looked up the adrenal fatigue today and the symptoms seem to be very similar to thyroid disorders and what I'm experiencing. I'm wanting to go get that tested but my last appointment my doctor scheduled me foe a one month checkup.  I hate Goin in sooner because I feel like a pest to them like they get sick of seeing my face. But I won't quit going until they find what the problem is.  But I guess I'll wait til the checkup.  And for now just be waiting on the thyroid ultrasound results this week.

I remember, now, that you mentioned past abnormal thyroid results, but didn't have any results for them... without knowing what they were, it's impossible for us to comment on them, since we don't know if they indicated hyper or hypo, and your labs now aren't far enough out to get a doctor's attention.

No, an ultra sound won't show anything to do with central hypothyroidism.  You'd need other pituitary tests to determine central hypothyroidism, to see if other endocrine systems are affected, but even that wouldn't be conclusive, because sometimes only one endocrine system is affected.  A pituitary MRI might show an adenoma, but without a good reason, you probably wouldn't be able to get your doctor or order one.

Talk to your doctor about it and see what happens... Don't wait for her/him to bring up central hypothyroidism, because, typically, doctors will look at TSH and once they see that it's in the normal range, will say everything is fine... You have to ask about it.  Ask about adrenal testing... a 24 hr saliva cortisol and ACTH and DHEA, along with the reproductive hormones, including testosterone.

Would the thyroid ultrasound show anything for the central hypothyroidism?

It's been very hard for me to find very much information about that ra latex turbid test.
I have had the abnormal thyroid results in the past.  And was getting it checked every 2 months for awhile.  That was back in 2006,2007. And when I was living in a different state.  So I can't very easily get ahold of those test results.  Not sure whether they were high or low.  I was sent to the endocrinologist in 2007 and in 2010. I wasn't too concerned by what was going on then because I was a teenager and didn't  really have a grasp on how much the thyroid controls.  And i didn't have half the symptoms I do now.
But a little over a year ago is when I just seemed to start to feel awful all over everyday. Having severe anxiety /panic attacks everyday.  And also started having mood swings and an almost complete loss of libido.

Okay, I'm with you now... With the new format MedHelp has come up with, it's often easy to miss comments on existing threads...

Your FT4 is only at 26% of its range; most of us feel best with FT4 at/about the mid range point.  Likewise, most of us feel best with FT3 in the upper half to upper third of its range and yours is at 58%, so you're good there, but the lower level of FT4 indicates that thyroid function may not be as good as it should be.

With your FT4 as low as it is, we'd also expect TSH to be higher than yours is, therefore, you might ask your doctor to look into Central hypothyroidism.  Central hypothyroidism is when the thyroid works fine, but the pituitary gland doesn't produce enough TSH to stimulate the thyroid adequately.

I'm not real familiar with the RA latex turbid test, but from a bit of reading, it doesn't appear that it really diagnoses anything; you need further testing to actually diagnose RA.  Additionally, your result was within the reference range, so, so most likely, they'd say you don't have RA, even though your level was on the high side.  I need to do more research on that test to know for sure.

I'm sorry.  I did add this information to the previous thread.  I thought maybe that thread was older so it might not show up or something so I just reposted all the labs.
I am not on any medication.  I have not been diagnosed with any thyroid disorders.  I have been having symptoms for a long time,  of fatigue,  anxiety,  muscle and joint pain,  palpitations,  hot flashes and chills,  dizziness, and my regular temperature is usually between 97.2-97.9. When my temp gets up to 98.6 I'm usually not feeling too well.
I recently found out through a heart echo that I have diastolic dysfunction.  Which is usually caused by hypertension.  I do not have hypertension.  My doctor says my BP is usually normal to low.  So we retested my thyroid and some other things to try to find the underlying cause of the heart issue.  I also had a thyroid ultrasound yesterday but have not yet got the results.  I was tested for RA.  My RA latex turbid test was a 10.5 (0.0-13.9). I was tested for lupus with an ANA test.  It was negative.

Do you have a question about your labs?  Your FT4 and FT3 look a little low, but your FT4 has come up some from January... And it's good that you got an FT3 test this time.

I'm sorry, I don't recall if you're on thyroid medication.  I know you had a previous thread; it's usually best if you add new labs/questions to previous threads, so we have your history and don't have to keep asking for the same information.  Can you, please, give us some background, such as medication, dosage, how long you've been on it, etc?
