Ultrasound Result of my Thyroid Gland

I am pregnant now. I had my thyroid ultrasound result as : The Thyroid gland is slightly enlarged with the RIGHT LOBE measuring 5.51 x 3.26 x 1.97 cm and the LEFT LOBE measuring 5.74 x 2.60 x 1.62 cm (CC x W x AP). The isthmus is not thickened. The parenchyma is homogeneous with normal vascualrity on color Doppler interrogation. No calcifications are seen. A solitary complex, avascular nodule is noted in the lower to middle portion of the left thyroid lobe, measuring 1.35 x 1.19 x 0.88 cm.

Impression: Enlarged thyroid gland with a solitary nodule in the left lobe as described.

Can anyone please assist me if I need to panic now? It my life at risk?

You only need toworry if your results say"microcalcificstions", that indicates cancer.  It says there are no calcifications which is good. The tiny mass that's on there is likely a benign nodule or goiter which are harmless.
