Questions about adrenal fatigue

Well, missed my app with the endo today and now have children standing behind me fighting.  Waiting for them to go away!!!  Okay, that's better.  Anyway... I was going to talk to her about adrenal fatigue, but now my new appt isn't until Sept.  First appt available.  Grrrrrrr!  Is this something I can just go back and get blood work done for or do I need an appt for exam at same time.  Figure if I can get blood work done and something is wrong she will probably work me in faster.

Is hard for me to just run to the dr.  My PCP is 1 hour away and endo is 1 1/2 hours away, so going to dr for me is kind of a big deal.  Especially with gas $3/gallon.

So is it worth trying to get a call through to her for blood work or not?  Thank you so much for your help again.

I would, they can fax the prescription for what they want done to wherever you go to get your bloodwork done or to you.  At least they did for me.  That stinks that you have to wait until September.  Ask them to put you on their waiting list....I've done that and have gotten called before.  Doesn't hurt.

You can get a 24-hour cortisol saliva test done without a prescription.  Go to canaryclub.org and sign up.  Just for joining, they give discounts on on-line lab testing.  Of course, you have to pay for the testing out of your own pocket, but at least you'd have the results.  And it's not all *that* expensive.
