Very strong heart papls during resting time

Hello again. I am having very scary heart palpitations when I am still. I have not had my blood tested again because it has only been three weeks, but I have went up on my levoxyl which seems to be going ok. I'm trying to get to 75mcg from 50 mcg. I'm not concerned about going up on my meds. That seems to be going ok. My concern is when I lay down my heart is beating so hard and fast. Especially when I wake in the middle of the night. What could it be? Is this normal. I feel like I'm going have a heart attack. I don't feel hyper because during the day my heart feels fine. It's only upon resting. I have some beta blockers but they give me insomnia and I'm not sure how to even take them. Any thoughts. Thanks!
