Well, i used to be hyper 6 years ago, but had thyroid out last march; was already on beta blockers too and they stoppesd me cold turkey the day of surgery. So, started Synthroid 100, them 2 wks later, to 50 then 3 wks later, 75, then to 100 for 4 wks. Felt so " hyper" so quick had to start betas again(top xl). went to er thinking i had a stroke, and had halter moniter for palps and pvc's and arrithmias (from stopping betas so suddenly and th damn meds). so started levoxyl brand at at alow dose of 50 and did it the right way...slowley uping meds to currently 88 for 2 wks today. My tsh is 15( down from 49 in summer), so its finally working at alower dose than when I was on synthroid 100. Currently gaining weight and feeling dizzy some days and a constantly nervous feeling and constantly sweating again. Hopefully after 4 more weeks I will drop my tsh even more, I just want to be in normal range and get my life back,, it seems the cure may be worse than the disease!!?? Will I ever feel better?? And am I doing it the right way now, slowley? And could the sweating and dizziness be me becoming diabetic, I feel like I have those symptoms too! My dad was insuline diabetic and its almost like I nedd to eat all the time ...maybe reactive hypoglycemic, since my a1c was 5 last yr? HELP!!!!
