New bloods. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, current bloods are:
TSH: 2.6 (0.40 - 3.50)
FT4: 13.0 (10.0 - 23.0)
FT3: 4.7 (3.9 - 6.8)
Reverse T3: 378 (140 - 540)

A few lingering hypo symptoms but have had some other issues I've been more concerned about so I have been "ignoring" my thyroid a bit.

Any thoughts are muchly appreciated. Especially on the reverse T3, I really dont understand this test, it's only been run twice.

Thanks!

Your FT3 and FT4 are still quite low in the ranges.  FT4 is in the bottom quarter (midrange is the rule of thumb), and FT3 is just above bottom quarter (upper half to third recommended).  I'm sure those explain your lingering hypo symptoms.

What's important as far as RT3 is concerned is the ratio of FT3 to RT3, not raw numbers.  The formula is FT3 / RT3 * 100.  Yours figures to 1.24, and the range for the ratio is approximately 1.0-2.0, preferably closer to the top of the range.

Although the FT3/RT3 ratio isn't all that close to the upper end, I don't think I'd worry a lot about that at the moment if I were you.  I'd ask my doctor about an increase to nudge the FT4 and FT3 up a bit and see how you feel then.

Looks like you're almost there...
