about thyronorm 50mcg

i am 57 years old male my weight is 98kg my height is 5"10'. After testing my thyroid my FT3 was 2.52, FT4 was 0.85 and THS was 2.55. Doctor prescribed me Thyronorm 50mcg. As my FT4 is low should i be taking this medicine. I am also having blood pressure and psoriasis. I am taking this medicine for last 15 days nd i think i am gaining weight. PLease suggest what to do.......

I think your 50 mcg is fine but the actual requirement is 1 mcg per kg for a total thyroidectomy patient.
