Hi i hope smeone can help me, i know ths seems an odd question but,i m researching hyrod probems, all women in my family have it, an ie hear taking im not sure if its t4 or t3 can cause weight loss, can someone maybe eplin which oneit i, if any, i am trying to understand overactive and underactiv thyrioid disorders and treatment nd treatment abuse s ne area im inerested in, youknow if someone who isnt a sufferer of the probes tkest4or t3 or whatever can it cause weight gain or loss or any other side effects.

Taking t3 or t4 meds when you are not hypothyroid can be dangerous. You could become hyperthyroid from the extra hormone in the meds.
Side effects can be bad- it is dangerous to the heart and bones, among other side effects.
Do not take it if you are not prescribed it.
