caffiene

Does anyone else just feel horrid when you drink any caffeine?   Seems to happen about 30 minutes after i drink a coke zero or a cup of tea.   Im so freakin tired, so i reach for my coke zero.  Then i feel horrid afterwards.    Does this go away once the thyroid levels out?   (which we all know is a trick and a lie LOL)

What can I say??  Goolarra said it all................ if it makes you feel bad, don't drink it.

Coffee, tea and coke all come in decaffeinated versions. I used to have issues with caffeine (not thyroid related), so I switched to "half-caff" coffee.

I gave up caffeine years ago when I went hyper.  You couldn't pay me money to drink it and make my heart wackier than it normally is.  I do miss it though.  I loved coffee =(.

Seems like a no-brainer to me.  If you feel horrid after drinking it, then DON'T DRINK IT.  I've never had a problem with caffeine, hypo-, hyper- or eu-thyroid, but that's me, and this is you.  If you reach for it because you're so freakin' tired, but it makes you feel horrid, you'd think you'd stop reaching for it.
