could you share your experience about your surgery and your diagnosis? i have been reading their site because i am so confused by my medical care. i do believe i have hyperparathyroidism but two scans one in 2005 and one just a month ago came back negative. my ENT would want to do the surgery if my next endocronologist elects to do that... and it would be explorative which i am not thrilled about.
two days of Sensipar and my bone pain of 10 years went away and the frequent urination. it seems like a hit but with a negative scan I'm not so sure
thank you
I had the parathyroid surgery on 7/7/09 in FL; they removed a benign parathyroid adenoma-my glucose levels are still at pre-diabetes levels, but I am hoping they come down. Can you please tell me what you ate on your anti-inflammatory diet that helped. What is your hyperpara secondary to?
I have hyperparathyroidism (secondary) and at that time my glucose levels were getting up there also. Then I went on a anti-inflammatory diet and my glucose levels dropped almost 30 points. Now they seem to be rising again. I'm taking another PTH blood test next week. Wondering now if my levels are higher. So I have the same question as you.
Also, you said you're getting surgery. Are they removing a tumor on your parathyroid?
