dark spots that are growing continuously

hi. i am 24 years old, and i have this hyperthyroidism since 4 years. Earlier before the treatmnt i had troubles with my menstruations as it took quite long time like 3-4 months to happen.... as per the doctor's prescription i take medcine Eltroxin (levothyroxine sodium) 100 mg everyday, and since then my periods are normal... but recently since past 3 months i found some dark green spots just at the right side of my neck below the jaw, which eentually turned to get darker and from 1 spot it got increased to 3-4 spots in the same area. it itchs me from inside the skin and have also started giving me pain as it stresses my skin too. i would like you to help me understand what am i going through (name of the disease) and plz suggest me the best solution to overcome it....

If you are being properly diagnosed and treated you should not remain hypothyroid.  You should become euthyroid.  If you will post your thyroid test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report, members will be glad to comment on the adequacy of your testing and levels.

I've been getting dark brown spots on my face the last month or two..  I asked the doctor and he said its common.   Its most common in pregnant or females on BC but its also a side effect of being Hypothyroid...  He said there is nothing I can do.   I bought some Clinic dark spot treatment and am hoping it will help break up the dark spots...  I have on on my check and a blotcher one on my forehead.  It looks like sundamage but its not.  I hope they go away... we'll see.
