Your body may still be in the "compensation" phase where it can get rid of the excess calcium levels. As you've read, your PTH and calcium levela should always be either in rage together, or opposite. if the PTH is high, the calcium should be low, and the same in reverse...I had to go to a teaching hospital and look up "parathyroid surgeons" to find the resources I needed...Perhaps this will help you too? Good luck and good health! ~MM

Just to compare your symptoms and sort out if you are having hyperparathyroid issues...Go to Parathyroid.com..It lists symptoms, and offers easy to read information...After reading all sorts of horrifying stuff about the causes of elevated calcium (I had advanced HPT disease) I found this site with the causes of elevated PTH levels...Very helpful...Good luck and let us know what you find! ~MM
