Irony of ironies, as an exercise coach and life coach there was I feeling dreadful; anxious, stiff-limbed and putting on weight.(90kg to 100kg) I put it down to raising our two young boys over 4-5 years. With the benefit of hind-sight this had been creeping into my system for a number of years.
The good news is that it was detected when being blood tested for something else and taking a slowly increasing dose, now at 100 my tsh is down from 20 to 6.9. Im less anxious, less moody/depressed and just feeling like i might enjoy longer bouts of exercise again.
I did a couple of hour long sessions which i enjoyed but I was very tired for the rest of the day. My question relates to how exercise affects the levels of t3 t4 in your blood. Could it be that when I exercise hard I need to up my dose? Is there anywhere I can read more about this?
Many thanks
