has anyone else tried Insinase?

I'm hypothyroid and my naturopath has given me Insinase from Metagenics to tackle sugar cravings, does anyone else who's not diabetic have any experience of this supplement? I'm feeling a little uneasy about taking it.

thanks for responding Barb, I guess no-one else knows anything about it.

the active ingredients listed are: Reduced Iso-Alpha Acids, Acacia Bark, Heartwood Extract (acacia nilotica)

other ingredients: microcrystaline cellulose, cellulose stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, sodium starch glycolate, silica sodium, coppoer chlorophiyllin and modified cellulose coating.

my sugar cravings have almost entirely reduced since I started taking it but I don't know if that's because of the insinase or just because I've been doing sugar and lemon every morning and focussing on having good willpower. Ive been very determined!

my cholestral level was a little high when I last had it measured but the doc thought that would probably come down with treatment for my hypothyroid, my blood sugar, according to the doc is normal and blood pressure is normal.

I guess I'm going to keep taking this stuff till I finish the bottle, if i go sugar crazy again within days of finishing it then I know it's something I should keep taking I guess. hopefully if it is having an effect it will have worked it's magic by the time I've finished what I've got and then I can just forget about it. I feel like I'm rattling with all the medicines and supplements I'm taking at the moment!

I can't find much about it, but it looks like it's mostly for leveling blood sugar levels, but also used for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc.  It doesn't seem to require a prescription.  I didn't see what all was in it, but I think I might be a bit uneasy about it too.  Maybe someone else will have more info on it.
