hypothyroid and hyperthyroid?

i have been diagnosed with hashimoto's and have low thyroid. i take 60 mg armour thyroid. my tests keep coming back low-normal  tsh, high t3, and low t4. how can i have high t3 and low t4 and normal tsh at the same time?
i know armour has t4 and t3 in it, but i can't take the synthetic. it makes me feel hyper or tired.
any suggestions?

oh but were those numbers total t3 and t4, or free? the frees are what you need to test to get a better idea of what your true levels are.

same thing happened to me - low FT4 and WAY high FT3 on Armour, and still felt hypo. So I had to switch to a combination of mostly Synthroid and supplementing with Armour (I was on just Synthroid in the past and it was not cutting it for me). I'm not sure what you can do about your problems with the synthetic. Perhaps you could try a different brand of the synthetic in combination with Armour?

Do you have the actual results of your FT3, FT4 and TSH and their reference ranges?  Those would help us give a more-informed response.
