Infused water with thyroid meds
Hi I have an underactive thyroid but have told my levels are balancing for now so I'm trying to loose weight. I have been drinking infused lemon, cucumber etc in water and I'm just wondering if it is safe to drink with a thyroid condition
What was the basis for telling you that your thyroid levels were "balancing out"? In trying to determine a person's thyroid state, the most important indicator is symptoms, followed by the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T4 and Free T3 (not the same as Total T4 and Total T3). What is the purpose of drinking the infused lemon, etc.?
