LOW TSH hyperthyroidism

I have a TSH level of 0.0 and I was told my T3 is 9.  Does anybody know what could be causing this.  My dr hasn't started me on meds or anything and I'm getting worried.  My female hormones are significantly low as well.

Your TSH is very low, and I'm assuming your FT3 is very high.  TSH is a pituitary hormone, and it's counterintuitive...when it's high, you're hypo (low function), and when it's low you're hyper (high function).

FT3 is one of the actual thyroid hormones, and it's HIGH, unlike you've stated your female hormones are low.

If I were you, I'd ask my doctor to test TSI (thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin).  It's a simple blood test and would confirm Graves' disease if it's elevated.  Graves' is autoimmune hyper.  You'll know more once you have your uptake scan.

My dr was out so couldn't get things in writing.  I have not had a period for 6 months, tired, irritable, insomnia, fatigue, increased appetite, loss of concentration, tremors, rapid heart rate and my asthma has flared significantly.  I just basically feel very cruddy.

You could call your doctor and ask for the results of all thyroid tests he ran and reference ranges for them or ask to pick up a copy.

What are your symptoms?

Ya, they didn't give me any ranges.  They are going to have me do an radio-iodine test next week and go from there.

We would need to see the test levels including the ranges provided with each level, ranges vary from lab to lab. Thank You FTB4
