is there anything i can do

Sorry to post another question so soon. As i said i have a hugely swollen hyperthyroid. Though its causing me many serious issues this weakness is intolerable i mean im barely self sufficient. Everyday i wake up i feel like i need a hospital and have to drink gatorade and water to get enough strength just to get around. There are things i need to do and im too weak to do them. I tried forcing myself to get a little exercise and 100 yards walking up hill put me in the emergency room. Im not sure why this makes me so weak, maybe too much tsh or something in my muscles. Is there anything i can take over the counter or prescription to strengthen me even a little? If there is anything i can do please let me know and thanks.

Side effects of depakote include weakness, drowsiness.  You might talk to your doctor about this; maybe an adjustment could be made or there's another medication they could give you instead.

They are going to do a ultra sound next week to determine if its cancer or not. Right now im on depakote to stop the mania and headaches its causing and tramadol for the pain. I suppose there is not much can be done until they decide how to treat it. I just wondered if i could take anything to get more strength but probably not. I cant quit the depakote or ill get manic again and not sleep for 8 more days. I was just getting desparate but there is probably nothing that can be done until they decide how to treat it.

When do you see your doctor again?  Whether you are hypo or hyper, there are prescription meds that will make you feel better.  Are you in the process of diagnosis and treatment for a thyroid disorder?
