By the way, I meant to mention that several months back I got into a hypo t condition again for a short while and I was having severe muscle cramps at night, somewhat like you mentioned. As soon as my med. was straightened out, the cramping went away.
If you have had your whole thyroid removed, and have no natural thyroid production, there is no way you should just quit. Thyroid hormones are vital to body functions.
With no thyroid function, the amount you are taking does not seem excessive. I know a full daily replacement for me was more like 200 mcg of T4 med. Why don't you post the actual numbers from your thyroid tests, along with reference ranges, and let forum members comment on whether you seem to be getting too much or too little med.
