i am taking medications for my goiter.it's a toxic nodular goiter. two months ago, when i was detected with this ailment, i was given a prescription to take 2 tablets of 20gram tapdin. this june, when i had a FT4 test for the second time, the result seemed to be good because it's already within the normal range. with the result, i was prescribed to take 1 20mg tapdin a day.  However, i started to feel tremendous pain in my bones and muscles.i'm afraid that it has something to do with my goiter.

pls, help me...

Tapdin is an anti-thyroid medication and I would say you need your levels checked again....
Free T3, Free T4 and TSH.
Aches and pains can be from both Hyper and Hypo so it would be wise to get those labs done again.
Good Luck and let us know how you go.

I don't know much about goiter but did you have the pain from going 2 tablets a day to 1?  did you check with your doc?  maybe you can ask for a different med?
goodluck.
