posible graves disease

hi I have recently seen my doctor about 2 lumps on either side of my neck, he done blood tests which he said were basically fine, I am now having blurred vision and the lumps are causing uncomfortable ache in the back of my head, I have read about graves disease and many of the symptoms I have, could the doctor have missed graves disease?

When you get the test results, please post them here, along with the reference ranges which vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report.

I'm glad you got a different doctor, who is willing to follow up and help you.

i have recently returned to see a different doctor because the swelling in my neck is causing discomfort and im very tired all the time, and still have blured vision, when i told him about the other doctor saying my tests were ok he said he would beg to differ as my thyroid tests had not come back at all, so the first doctor should not have left it, i now have to have more tests done and when they return see how they are, but the new doctor said if they return ok then he wants to get xrays to see whats causing swelling in my neck,

What thyroid blood tests were done and what are the results of those?  You should have had, at least, TSH, Free T3 and Free T4.  If you have those, please post the results with reference ranges, which vary lab to lab, so must come from your own report.  With Graves Disease, typically, TSH will by very low, while FT3 and FT4 would be very high.

A diagnosis of Graves can be obtained very simply, via a test called Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI), which will confirm/rule out Graves antibodies.

Once we see your labs, we will be able to better assess your situation and make further comments.
