How about posting your thyroid test results and reference ranges so we can assess. Also, what thyroid med and dosage are you taking?
Yea I am going through it now. First sweating but cold then freezing. I have hypothyroidism and think my dosage is too high. Any suggestions?
Diabetes II also has the symptom of severe sweating with parts of the body burning up and other parts cold.
I would get checked for that too.
My boyfriend has Diabetes II and he sweats like a pig lol.
Sweating is not just the thyroid. There are many reasons for sweating...menopause etc, hormone imbalance etc.
No reason except for severe sweating can be a symptom of hyperthyriodism. I am checking every possible disease that has severe sweating listed as a symptom. Desperation. :)
Either of you have an Endo do a TSH test? What makes you think this is a thyroid condition? Do you have any other symptoms?
I wanted to let you know that I have exactly the same thing as you describe. I am starting to get worried. My head sweats so much with no relief. My hair is literally dripping. The sweat doesnt smell, its just sweat. I cant even have the heat on in the house when the kids are cold. I have a fan blowing on me continously when I do my make-up. I have a fan at my desk. Cool air blowing on my face and head seems to be the only thing that stops it. Have you found out anything to help with this? Please let me know. I am suffering more and more every year....Kari
