swollen tonque

I take thyroid meds 75mcg (levothroid) now does too much cause swollen tongue and puffy face I have been on 88mcg and 100mcg it scares me so I went back down to 75 but I have been so tired talk to my dr at kaiser any help gained weight can not lose any try hard too please help

I agree with Deb - you need to give the increases the full 6 weeks to stablize

you might have issues in the beginning and if you keep switching stuff around - you could get in that thyroid he// circle some of us ( ME) were in.

It's tough but listen to Deb and work with the increases. If you notice these issues as bothersome there are things you can try to help you along with contacting your doctor and keeping a log book each day on what you take and how you feel.

You may have gone Hypo from decreasing the meds.
I get a swollen tongue and ulcerated mouth if I go Hypo.
Until your levels are stabilised you will gain the weight.
It may be a good idea to get your bloods done again and then go back to your Doctor to see if he/she can help you tweak the meds again.
