synthoid and cytomel combo vs amour

I am taking synthoid 125mg that is not working
I am thinking of either adding cytomel or just changing to amour.  If I change what dosage should I get

Have you lost any weight , switching from synthoid to amour?  Why did you switch?

That would be up to your physician depending on your TSH. When I made the switch and asked my doctor to prescribe Armour instead of Synthroid. Which he was in totally agreement with the switch. I went from a .175 Synthyroid to an Armour dose of 120mcg. Then in 6 weeks I went for my blood draw and I was Hyper - He lowered my dose to 60 mcg. I will be having a blood draw 2/20 to see where I am at now, but I do not have heart pulps and the anxiety I was having on the 120 mcg

I am so excited to see where I am at right now. I feel like I am closer than I have ever been in 6 years!!!

Again -- thanks Kitty for the advice. (sorry to post this on your thread) You get great advice from people here as I did and when you feel this good on your meds b/c of that person - you can't resist to thank them a million times.
