The dry eye sounds like a hypo symptom. It may be that you need to have your meds. increased. TSH of 3.48 for someone who is in meds is too high.
Eye disease is different than thyroid disease. Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)
is caused by antibodies that attack the eyes. Different antibodies than thyroid antibodies. Anyone can get TED if they carry the antibody.
Your symptoms of achy, dry eye, and fuzzy peripheral vision could be early stages of TED. Nothing can be done until the hot phase is over, 18 to 24 months after on set, and see what damage has been done. Mean while steroid eye drops, over the counter eyedrops and retasis are the main treatment for now.
