thyroid nodules
I have a nodule 2-3cm. I am nervous about the two options I have:1) biopsy 2) thyroidectemy. My doctor says eventually it needs to be removed because it will continue to grow. I was thinking if it needs to go just go ahead and get it over with and skip biopsy because im scared of a needle going in my neck. I am only 32 and very concerned about being on meds the rest of my life. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?
