i had both thyroid gland remove in feb.2011 .when can i exspect my voice to come back to normal?

I have thyroid cancer. The Dr. say in one nodule he did byopsi in. An he miss the other nodules, so he dont know if there cancerous or not. I find out on the 31st.

Yikes you still have voice problems?  I had mine removed a  few days ago.  I'm hoarse, but the voice is back.  I just can't talk for long periods of time.

KKs72- I had mine removed 2 days ago.  I was only in the hospital over night.  My pain was a little worse than most I think.  I'm having a hard time eating. What are you having yours removed for?
