I received a call from my physicians office telling me of my test results but not giving any information as to what they meant. Twice was told that I needed to make an appointment with Endroconology.
I did go by and picked up a copy of the test results to be sure I didn't misunderstand the numbers.
T4 FREE 0.94, TSH 4.650, T3 FREE 2.9, Thyroperoxidase AB 393.1 and Thyroglobulin AB SCR >500.
Please explain - especially the last two in layman's terms - just what do they mean to me? My appointment with Endro isn't for another 3 weeks.I realize that I probably have Hashimoto, however, am wondering if there may be something more to this? I'm not generally a worrier, however, would like to know what you think.
Thanks
