Lest get back to the basics.
Did they ever do this at the Mayo? :
Have you take thyroid med and monitor you all hooked up for the next few hours as your "whole body goes nuts , start shaking".
That would have been the logical thing for these great docs at the Mayo to do. Maybe this can still be done.
did you ever do a 24 hr saliva test to see if your adrenals are week. sounds alot like that . maybe you can't handle the thyroid meds because of week adrenals? can't get into your cells. ever try an osteopathic doctor test all your hormone levels. might be an idea, kevin
they did lupus. My 24 hour cortisol urination test came back 2 points in the higher range. This would suggest possible cushings, but I dont have any of the other symptoms.
I do not have the current levels with me, but I saw them and the T3 was in range. My symptoms appear to get worse the longer i take levo (armour, whatever). Shortly after taking any medication my whole body goes nuts. I start shaking, I cant think straight. I get nauseas, and the ringing in my ears gets a lot louder. I have to literally lay in bed and wait for it to pass.
I talked to the endo at mayo clinic today and she suggested that perhaps I should stop taking the levo since im barely taking any at all at this point (.025) and see what happens.
Have you ever taken too much t3? what happens when this occurs? Thats probably how I feel.
Bruce
or other autoimmune diseases?
did they test u for lupus
Bruce when you say that you tried half the "armour" and went hyper in 30 minutes do you mean ERFA or actual Armour brand? And when you say half the dose are you refering to 1/2 a grain (1/2 the pill) or 1/2 of your entire dose? Pleasr be specific so we can see exactly where you are at and coming from.---- It's kind of like when we here in TX say I'll have a "coke" do we can mean just a soda or an actual COKE? Do you have the ERFa in the mail yet?
