Pregnancy After Miscarriage With Graves? HELP!!!

In May I had a miscarriage on my first pregnancy at 11 weeks. When I found out I was having a miscarriage I was told I had Graves Disease from Hyperthyroidism. My OB/GYN told me that this more than likely was the cause of the miscarriage. Apparently I had this before I became pregnant, just never knew it and didn't think of seeing a doctor than. The only thing I don't understand is I never had a problem with my periods being regular. My OB/GYN put me on Propylthiouracil 50mg 3 times a day, and Atenolol 25mg once a day. After my miscarriage was over he raised it up to Propylthiouracil 150mg 3 times a day and Atenolol 25mg once a day. I had read that you can get your period back after a miscarriage without a D&C about 4-6 weeks later. And of course I did exactly 4 weeks later. Now this month I have now got my period. I have always been regular so I don't understand. I am needing to know if high dosage of my Propylthiouracil can cause a false positive on a home pregnancy test. I am now 5 days late on my period this month. My husband and I are not using protection during sexual intercourse. Could I be pregnant again? I go to see my doctor on Aug. 10th. I have taken the pregnancy test I took back in my other pregnancy and it told me I was pregnant then. I don't understand, why is it coming back negitive? Help Please

I don't have an answer to your question and I'm sorry about your miscarriage. But I wanted to say I had Graves with hyperthyroidism while pregnant and I have a beautiful healthy boy. I also take PTU. I hope this gives you hope.
