urinary tract infection...ugghhh

i have hyperthyroid..i had radiation over a month ago..i went to the er twonights ago..i have a urinary tract infection..im taking antibiotics..can someone please tellme what can i do to prevent from this from happening again..i cannot drink cranberry juice..i had heartburn issues..can someone please tell me some other alternatives i have in order to pmake my bladder and kidneys more healthier..ibecause i have a thyroid disorder..and it nedds to be safe..thank you for reading this..god bless..

Also make sure you drink plenty of water to keep  your kidneys/bladder flushed out.

Yes, I've taken those cranberry capsules.  I didn't have any problems with them, but you might want to talk to your doctor about it.  I tend to have recurring UTI's, which are much worse when I don't stay hydrated and keep my kidneys flushed, so if you're doing that, hopefully, you won't have an issue with infections.

they say ozo cranberry capsules..has anymone tried these..and if so..is it safe..nd thank you..barb135 im drinking plenty warter now..with the cranberry juice..lol thanks..so much for the answers..
