Knowing that hypothyroid patients sometimes are low in magnesium, I remembered seeing this info. Thought you might find this interesting, since this type of headache was related to magnesium and taking it was so effective in relieving the problem.
"Migraine often occurs as a result of low brain levels of magnesium. One clinical trial found that supplementing with magnesium caused the complete elimination of migraine pain within 15 minutes in 80% of migraine sufferers."
Usually all over. I'm hoping to find out its a sinus issue and not something worse. I'm mid 40's so I wondered if peri menopause could be contributing to it as well.
Hi there, I always got a bit of a headache when changing med or increasing dose, but it always went away in short time. Not sure how old you are, but maybe you've developed migraines? Or maybe something else completely?
Are these all-over head headaches, or just one side?
I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm not having any hyper symptoms though.
Do you have current labs you can post, with reference ranges, so we can see what your actual levels are and better assess your situation?
Headaches can be a symptom of hyper, so you could be over medicated. Then, again, some people report worsening (or new) symptoms, with changes in medication/dosage.
Not sure about the odd smell.
