does this look like a.bfp? evap? bfn? comments? im hoping
Af two days late...took first response and I see a faint line ...just don't know if it is bfn,bro,or an evap. What do you guys think? I've been so naseous n having twinges and some slight cramping, bit nothing at all like af...hoping this is a bfp and OT sticks. What are your thoughts? I stopped tracking O. Last af was 12/30-1/5/12. Hubby and I last be on Jan 9 th and 11th of Jan. I keep running to the bathroom as it feels like af has arrived but nothing.I've attached a pic of the hot.
The doctors test was a blood test. AF started on the 25 two days after the negative blood test at the docs office. It seemed to be regular flow and lasted 6 days as usual. I still had no cramping etc that i always have had in the past. after af was done i started having cramps.... weird.
That is very strange. At the doctor's, did you do a urine test? Or a blood test? If it was a urine test, I would request a blood test. They're more sensitive
So, I took a test a couple days ago and there was another faint line. Went to doctor yesterday cd55 and results were negative. today is cd56 and no af...no cramping no symptoms. feel tired/fatigued twinges and temps are still in the upper 98 (98.3-98.9)
It's weird she keeps getting faint lines though... I would see a doc asap and see what's going on.
PCOS is poly cystic ovarian syndrome. It's a condition that happens when you ovulate, your egg turns into a cyst. It's a very common condition, as there are many women on here that have it.
It's very strange that your cycles are usually 28 days, and now this one is 40+ days. It could just be an off cyle, which happens to most women at some point.
And it is possible that your HCG level just isn't high enough yet. That happens frequently too.

I agree. I just have not felt like this before. I took two tests one day and two tests again the next day . I took one in the afternoon and didnt see anything. Then I took one the next day with fmu and got that faint line again. this happened both days. Like i said just odd. can there be multiple evaps or am i seeing things? I posted the hpt from this morning in my profile pics. I marked where the line showed up . it showed up within the time limit.I have been walking around running to the bathroom every now and then for the past 3 weeks. It still feels like af is here but nothing. Ill wait out the month and then go see my doc if nothing shows up. I would like it to be that the hcg level is just not showing up yet. hahaha

It's possible that you didn't ovulate this cycle. Ovulated late. Just an off cycle. Could be any number of reasons.
I would say, if AF doesn't come in the next few days, I would definitely go to the dr and get bloodwork done. For some women in early pregnancy, the HCG level isn't high enough to be detected on an HPT even with the highly sensitive ones. If bloodwork comes back negative, then get your dr to investigate why AF hasn't shown up. Maybe you have PCOS?
Also remember, symptoms aren't indicative of pregnancy. When we want to be pregnant, or think we might be pregnant, our minds have a wonderful way of tricking us into believing that we are. Causing late periods, nausea, sore ( . ) Y ( . ) etc...

It is cd 42 and no af yet. I took another hpt this morning with fmu and could swear there was a line but after 20 there was nothing there. I took 3 more before that and they all seem to have that faint line that could barely be seen. I am assuming that is the strip inside maybe or an evap.....looks the same as the pic i originally posted. I still have some pulling and pinching her and here in lower abdomen and today i woke up naseous. Ive just been feeling off the last couple days. Still no af in site....no cramping that i usually get before she arrives. just odd . my temps for this week have ranged from 98.5 to 98.6 to 99.1 to 98.4. Today is still a 98.4. I have no idea what to think. I hate the wait. I know I should go to the doc, but I have children which I am sitting for and my husband is out in the field. Cant get out there right now. I have one more test that ill take again tomorrow morning. Or maybe ill just get a digital one and see what it says. That should give me a clear answer. Maybe I just ovulated late? Or didnt ovulate last month?

Okay I tested this morning with FMU. I got nothing. Not even an evap. :(
after 4 total tests with a faint line.... a negative today. No sign of af or any cramping etc. The nausea I have been having has stopped, but I still feel an ache every now and then around my belly button is or just below. I guess I will be waiting AF and if nothing after a week, I will make an apt to see the doctor. Anyone else ever had this happen?

Totally agree that holding it for an hour is not going to be the best. You should hold it like 4 hours and don't really drink anything. FMU is the best because you don't pee for like 6-8 hours and you don't have anything to drink (most times) during that time so it's not diluted. Good luck.
Your whole problem is because you aren't using first morning urine I think. You can hold of peeing but not just for an hour..you have to try like 3 or 4!
I don't think the odds of getting 3 evaps in a row is that possible....I would count them as positive myself.
The only other thing you can do is wait for the first morning urine and/or get a digital test...that'll tell you.

Jroberts... No I didnt use FMU. I will try again first thing in the morning. If you hold it for an hour is it the same thing? Wasnt sure. Some people said if you hold it it is the same as if you use fmu.I hope it gets darker to.

Even then they would prob make me wait a week to come in and test. I thought the lines would be darker by now. AF has still not come and I have no signs of pending af (cramping etc). I am hoping to get a bfp. I was also wondering if it was possible to get 3 evaps in a row.....

I tested at 12dpo and 14dpo. It was almost indistinguishable between the faint lines. At that point I had the blood test to confirm, so I didn't use anymore hpts. After your three tests with lines, faint as they may be, I think it's safe to say you're preggars! Get that appt. with your obgyn already! No need to keep on with the hpts. Congrats!!
Are you using FMU? If not try using that. It will be a little more concentrated. Good luck and I hope that line gets darker.

Thank you Heather. I hope so to. I never thought that hpts would give you an uncertain line on multiple tests. Is that normal? I have heard people say they had an evap and take another test and it would show negative or positive but not this? This is the third one with that faint line. AAARRGGG! LOL I hate not knowing. I always have cramping when af is almost about to arrive and I havent had any at all. If af shows it would be the first time in my life that I did not have any cramping. Hubby would probably pass out if it was positive. he has been waiting for a + as well. hahaha

It could just be early still. I got light lines until the day before or day AF was due. I know you said AF was already 2 days late but you could have ovulated later than you thought.

against better judgment I took one this afternoon and it is similar to the previous ones. There is a faint line just the same as the other hpts. I will wait a while longer to test and use fmu. Unless af should arrive. I posted todays hpt pic in my pictures on my profile.
HI, I know I cannot distinguish if a true line or not. Angebelle and Heatherm4 , how long did you have light test lines before they became darker? I will test again in a couple days. I figure if it is a bfn af will show up and if not maybe just maybe i will get that bfp. heres to hoping.
I I forgot to add I did take a test earlier that day prior to the one i posted but couldnt tell if there was a line at all. It may have been an evap or me just seeing the test strip inside. who knows, maybe my eyes were playing a trick on me.

Agreed. My test line was faint for each of the tests I took over the course of a few days. If you get another faint line, then it's time to get a blood test as confirmation. Get started on those prenatals if you haven't already and good luck!!
You should take another one!! I see where you are talking about but I can't tell. I had super light tests come up too. Take another- if there is something there then you know it's probably a BFP because what are the chances of having 2 evaps in a row right?
