Hi
Welcome to the forum!
If the lump is hurting, then do a self examination of breast and see if you can feel a lump. In slightest doubt, consult a doctor. Also get the lump examined. It could be a boil or an abscess (localized collection of pus) if it is hurting. It is also possible that if there was a hematoma earlier, it has become infected. The lump could also be a neurofibroma (a nerve tumor that is not cancerous), which pains at times.
It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage without examining the lump. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
pain in breast may be associated with the periods as the hormones cause it.mention other observations like size of the lump n associated symptoms like fever, periods date.i could help u!
there is really nothing much to be worried about this lump.u should be more worried if u can find any other symptoms like lymph nodes enlargement which is very common even in early stages of a breast cancer.but y did u feel the pain in it n what else did u observe like related symptoms?
