Fainting with convulsions

My husband has fainted three different times. Each time he has been doing physical activities, but only one of them was out in the heat. The first time he was having to complete an obstacle course (he is a detention officer). His coworkers told him that his eyes rolled back in his head and he was convulsing. My husband does not remember this at all. The second time happened at the gym. He called me a little upset because he woke up sitting on the bench in the locker room and does not remember anything. This last time he was working for my father outside. It was very hot and he said he started feeling funny. My dad helped him to get to some water. My dad said that he turned around to get something and turned back around and my husband was falling. His toungue was sticking slightly out of his mouth and he hit his head on the water spigot on the way down. My dad said that his arms looked funny almost like noodles. My husband's father has very severe epilepsy, which he had ot have brain surgery for a long time ago. My concern is that this is the same thing. My question is, do this sound like epilepsy?

Have him evaluated for cardiac AND neurologic problems...Blood tests for all electrolyte, liver and kidney functions...One thing for sure..His body is hollering really loud that something's not right!

It's really hard to say. One of the episodes described his arms as like noodles - seizures are usually descibed more as rigidity or jerking, but he certainly needs evaluated. One thing that seems apparent - he needs to avoid a lot of exertion and getting overheated and needs to prevent dehydration. But if he were my husband I'd want him to see a neurologist for a workup to evaluate for epilepsy and any other things that might cause these episodes.
