Hello,
Constant tiredness and fatigue can be due to anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, hypothyroidism, disorders of the hypothalamus, psychiatric disorders like depression and sleep-related breathing disorders. Baseline blood tests should be limited to a complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, standard blood chemistries, and thyroid function tests. Meantime, having nutritious food and iron supplements will help.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
I ended up finding out I had silent migraines, which can actually have many of the symptoms you described, like the dizziness and lack of concentration. Silent migraines are migraines with the symptoms without necessarily having a headache.
I would have your doctor check your thyroid. All those symptoms are commonly related to thyroid disease. Nothing to be scared of as I have taken medication for years for it. Whether or not it's your thyroid, you definitely need to see a doctor.
I know how you feel, I feel the same way ALL DAY long EVERY DAY. Trust me, it's not in your head. Even if you are under a lot of stress if you are feeling chronic pain you shouldn't just ignore it. I've been told that I'm over reacting and it's probably my anxiety and depression causing my pain (along with high bp and chest pains) but I've also been told that yes, people can have anxiety attacks with these symptoms but if you are feeling THAT bad, that's what's causing your anxiety and depression. How long have you been feeling like this and do you have any other symptoms? I feel the same way and my mother has Fibromyalgia and I am thinking that might be what I have. It's common among women and you can get it as young as 20. My suggestion to you is to keep a journal of all of your symptoms and what you eat, drink, all of that kind of stuff, make sure and note what medicines you take and when and make an appt with your doctor and present them with this log. Doctors now a days don't like to believe how much pain you are in unless you INSIST they run tests to rule out things. Ask your doctor to get you a CBC blood test to see if you could be anemic or have B12 or folic acid defficiency. Mine came back normal except I had large RBC and a slightly low number of them. If it turns out to be B12 defficiency it's a simple treatment that you must continue. You would have to either take sublingual B12 (a pill that absorbs under your tongue) or B12 shots every month. I understand your pain and sympathize. Keep me updated if you decide to follow through with the tests. Also, do you think the concentration is due to your pain or could it be spacing out like ADD? Just trying to understand your symptoms better to give you more advice.
