Drinking water hurts?

Does anyone else get this? Whenever I drink tap water, my stomach hurts. It especially happens at my boyfriend's house and it's really starting to get annoying because I can't drink milk and that's the only other option there. Sometimes really cold bottled water will do it too. It's kind of a too-full feeling, even if I only drink a little water and even if I haven't eaten too much.

Try water at room temperature.  Sometimes all that is going on is that your stomach doesn't like the cooler drinking water.  I had a cousin with this problem and that was what her doctor told her to do and it worked.

That happens to me at my parents' house.  Old pipes will leach chemicals into the water which can upset your stomach.  Try running the water for 30 seconds or more if the faucet han't been used in a few hours to drain out the "stale" water.

Our bodies really don't want cold water.  It's quite the American thing to want cold water.  Most of the rest of the world drinks room temp water as it is easier for our bodies to absorb.

depending on wither you bf lives withing city limits or out in the country with well water the water system may have too much iron in it.. which will cause stomach pains or a full filling.. get a filtration system for the water and with bottle water if you boil the water then put it back in the bottle that should help
