Lump on top of hand after punching hard object

Hi all, I damaged my hand about 15 years ago when I hit a door which left a small lump on top of my hand but other than that there have been no other problems until this year when I was working out on the punch bag, must have caught it wrong and I had a lot of pain, loss of grip and slight swelling. After approx 3 months or so it seemed ok again. Then approx 2 months ago it has happened again but this time the top of my hand swelled for about a week and I'm still suffering with a lot of pain, I've had an x-ray which showed no breaks, my doctor doesn't appear to be much help but I need some advice as I work with my hands and can't afford to be broken

Thanks guys in advance

I have been dealing with these skin issues for many years. I used to always feel like I had bugs crawling on me, no bites or rashes. Just the feeling of something crawling all over my skin. Turned out I was allergic to sulfates which are in almost all soaps, shampoos even toothpaste. These items all have sulfate free alternatives you have to spend a little time searching for them.

Hi there, I've looked up images of bone spurs and I think you could of hit the nail on the head as some of the pics of bone spurs over the carpel are identical to what my hand looks like, thank you for your response as this could shorten the process when I next see my go, strange how they never picked it up on the x-ray tho

Thanks again

PS  You might need to do this at least twice a week for about 2 months.  Then keep taking the Grapeseed as it's also an antioxidant and we all need that!  :)  Keep smiling..

It is possible that you have developed a bone spur on your hand as a result of the injury.  Try soaking your hand in hot water to which white vinegar and baking soda have been added.  And take Grapeseed extract capsules or tablets.  Grapeseed has been known to dissolve bone spurs. - the vinegar soak will make the spur soft and pliable.

Hope this helps.  I got rid of the bone spurs in my feet and heels doing this. :)
