Right flank pain only no other smptoms

I have had right side flank pain for 1 week, Kidney area. Like a really bad side ache. Loud stomach noise. Urine tested and fine. No other symptoms. I'm waiting to go for an Ultrasound. Has anyone ever experienced this and possibly know what it is?

Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Flank pain is generally due to kidney stones. Other possibilities are chronic involvement of appendix (many a times ultrasound misses this as the appendix in such cases is hidden behind loops of intestine and typical symptoms of appendicitis are absent) and inflammation of your intestine. Hope the ultrasound sheds some light.
